I became a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs watching their run to the cup in 1967. Little did I know it might be the only Stanley Cup I watched them win. I am not a professional writer. I backdoored my way into this by writing comments on different hockey blogs. I wrote one article for an old blog called “Hope in the Smoke.” It stopped publishing right after that. I hope it was a coincidence. I became online friends with The Old Prof. He invited me to share my views and opinions with him, and he was generous enough to share those views with others. So here I am. I hope to offer readers specific insight into game action and reasoned opinions about players and the team. I typically tape every Maple Leafs game and watch it several times, taking notes on what I see. While I trust the eye text, I also enjoy analytics. As I review what has happened on the ice, I hope to provide readers with well-researched insights into game action. My other love is bowling. I was lucky enough to win two PBA Senior Regional Titles in 2005 and 2006.
