In today’s NHL Trade Talk Recap (Jan. 15), trade rumors abound. Could a proposed trade between the Maple Leafs and Avalanche work? Are the Oilers pushing to sign blue liner John Klingberg using a UFA loophole? Could McDavid eventually leave Edmonton for an Eastern rival?

The Flyers are focused on loyalty ahead of the trade deadline, and the Jets and Blackhawks completed a deal today. The surprising Canadiens are now expected to be a buyer, while the Penguins placed Tristan Jarry on waivers.
