The Sisters Brothers
This upcoming wild west dark comedy about assassin brothers Eli and Charlie Sisters opens October 12th. Based on the novel of the same name it stars John C. Reilly, Joaquin Phoenix, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Riz Ahmed, directed by Jacques Audiard.
The one question we have, if this film is set in the 1850’s, how is it “Tainted Love” by Soft Cell is playing on the music box? Is this really a period piece or more of a comedy laced with 80’s cultural references?
