8 Movie Trailers Sure To Raise Questions

Can the hit Ocean’s movies be as good if the starring cast is all women? I know that’s a terribly sexist thing to ask but that’s what fans will be asking when they decide whether or not to go see this movie. Arriving June 8th, this heist-comedy by Gary Ross is a spin-off of the popular Ocean’s trilogy and it stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna, and Helena Bonham Carter. Can you live up to the standards set by George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and others?

The reality is, there’s a better cast here with far more A-list female stars that there were male stars for the original series. Will that matter?

Fans who love the first series will probably love this one but some may be hesitant, but as one YouTube viewer suggested, “the film could have gone a completely new route with the franchise, but instead just remapped Clooney and Pitts personality to Sandra and Cate?.”
