CM Punk Comments After Trail Verdict Reached: Says He Not “All In”
CM Punk and Colt Cabana have won their day in court. See what Punk said after the trial. Is he “All In?”
CM Punk and Colt Cabana were taken to court for the things they said about WWE doctor Chris Amann and CM Punk and Colt Cabana were cleared of all the things they said about WWE doctor Chris Amann when the judge ruled to dismiss the charges. Cabana can now get back to podcasting — this time with insurance he says — and Punk can put the full weight of his attention on UFC 225 which is coming up on June 9 and his bout against Mike Jackson.
Executive Editor of WrestleZone, Nick Hausman caught up with Punk outside the courtroom after the ruling and Punk wasn’t shy about discussing what he felt about everything, but also about how grateful he was for this to finally be over. He explained:
Aside from the fact that I’m in the middle of a weight cut, and obviously I’ve got some other business to take care of at the end of the week, a gigantic weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. First and foremost, I’m happy for my friend Colt Cabana, who I think was dragged into this for silly reasons, but just in general, I’m super appreciative and happy that the jury came to that verdict. They think I had truth on my side, obviously I did, and common sense prevailed. I’m just happy. I appreciate everyone that was in my corner and knew and continues to know the truth. I can’t wait to put it all behind me. I wanted out years ago, and I still feel the same way. I just want to move on with my life.

If you listen to the final portion of the video, it’s not all great news for wrestling fans. It doesn’t sound like Punk intends to return to wrestling and that includes the All In show he was speculated to be a part of. When asked if he was “All In”, Punk wasted no time in saying, “No.”
Cabana, who was also cleared of any wrongdoing was also interviewed after the trial ended. He says he’ll go back to podcasting each and every Thursday on coltcabana.com. He did suggest that he’d make sure to have insurance for the next time anything like this ever popped up.
