Selected 28th overall in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, Greig is known as a player who has the skill but can also get under opponents’ skin.

Senators Lock Up a Young Piece in Greig

As per @JFresh, Greig is a developing third-liner who works hard and plays with an edge, helping to drive play in the right direction. While still refining his offensive game, he shows flashes of skill with the puck and is willing to crash the net. Most teams could use a player like him. The Senators need a player with passion as the team tries to find its way into the playoff mix.

The team announced the extension via their official social media, and most fans are under the impression it’s a good deal, particularly given the length of the contract and the value he might hold in the later years as the salary cap rises.
