We’re excited to bring to you the first episode of our new NHL Trade Talk Podcast. Each week (maybe more), we’ll be taking a closer look at trades, trade talk and rumors, plus moves each team is making. Our first episode focuses on the 2021 Trade Deadline and a busy Saturday in the NHL.
A few trades already took place Saturday, including Brandon Montour to Florida, Devan Dubnyk to Colorado and a big three-team deal that sent David Savard to the Tampa Bay Lightning via the Detroit Red Wings. We talk a bit about each deal (unfortunately, the Savard deal wasn’t finalized when this was recorded).
Thanks to Kevin Armstrong and Shane Seney of The Hockey Writers who will act as our regular panel each week on the show. They offered some great insight and we’re excited about working with both contributors moving forward.
