According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jeff Hardy may be out of action again, this time the United States Champion has a pinched nerve in his hand that has him experiencing finger numbness. If accurate, this is another in a long line of injury issues for the popular WWE Superstar who has had a history of injuries and his most recent run and return to WWE has been overshadowed by them.
In September of 2017, he was injured and sidelined leaving his brother Matt to start his “Woken” Hardy storyline. Jeff didn’t return until April. Then there was a word he’d hurt his knee in a dark match a few weeks ago. If he’s got a pinched nerve, this could be something serious that would likely require he be part of a match to get the title off of his waist and give him a chance to recover properly. At the very least, it will likely mean he stays off the Money in the Bank pay-per-view that is coming in less than two weeks.

Hardy’s last appearance on WWE programming was a loss to Daniel Bryan in a qualifying match for Money in the Bank. WWE has yet to release a statement on the matter and may choose not to publicly acknowledge it until they can figure out what to do with the U.S. Title.
