The native of Cobden, Ontario finished second in the OHL in goals, potting 52 to go along with 37 assists for 89 points in 62 games. He’s a sniper, there’s no doubt about it.
Quinn was one of two Ottawa 67 players that would factor into the first round. With teammate Marco Rossi as the set-up man, Quinn was the finisher. The 2001 born right winger consistently ranked as a top 15 selection in several 2020 NHL Draft rankings is a player that we believed could slide into the top 10. He came in right at that spot.
Quinn moved up the draft ranks. “It all came pretty quick. A couple of years after I was playing AA, here I am,” he said. He added, “It makes you not take anything for granted. I haven’t been a top prospect. I’ve had to perfect my craft. It’s humbling.”
