Blackhawks Get Brutal Injury News Regarding Connor Bedard

Blackhawks star Connor Bedard underwent shoulder surgery and his injury will keep him out for four months.

The Chicago Blackhawks have confirmed news that superstar forward Connor Bedard will be out four months due to an injury suffered in offseason training. The organization wrote in their statement that Bedard underwent successful surgery on his left shoulder. They expect him to make a full recovery.

Based on that timeline he will miss first six weeks or so of the season.

Bedard’s injury sparked concern after leaving an informal offseason skate in Vancouver following an awkward fall that appeared to injure his left shoulder. The video showed him in visible pain, holding his arm as he exited the ice. The session was not team-run.

The situation is notable as Bedard remains unsigned, with contract talks ongoing, adding another layer of uncertainty for the Blackhawks.
