During an interview with The National in Abu Dhabi, WWE’s Triple H said there will be at least three more Performance Centers coming in the near future. This is where the WWE’s main growth will come from as they expand their brand across the globe, looking for new talent.
WWE, specifically Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative, Triple H believes they’ve found a winning formula with these state of the art Performance Centers and said, “I can tell you there will be a performance center in India… There will be a performance center in the Middle East. There will, more than likely, be a performance center in Latin America. We will be replicating this process around the globe, all over.”
India and the Middle East have become strategic locations for WWE to grow their brand in recent years, mainly because of the popularity of WWE in those locations and the vast populations. It makes sense WWE would go there. Triple H explained, “I see that, as you said, the product is very big there, very successful there, there’s a lot of people that have a very strong interest in it.” But, he also knows that not everyone will be a good fit.
How many WWE Performance Centers will wind up across the globe is unknown but clearly it’s a formula WWE likes and with the need so high to grab new talent and mold them into future WWE stars, it makes a lot of sense for WWE to continue looking at this model.
