Maple Leafs Development Camp Is Starting Tomorrow
It’s not like anyone has to wait too long for the development camp to start. On Thursday this week (September 9), players will undergo medicals and on-ice testing. That’s tomorrow. The very next day (Friday, September 10), there will be full-team on-the-ice and media sessions starting at the Ford Performance Centre.
As per the Maple Leafs’ announcement, the development-camp roster has listed the names of 39 players (20 forwards, 13 defencemen, and six goaltenders) who will be attending, learning, and seeking stardom. Planning to take part in this year’s development camp will be eight Maple Leafs draft picks.
Hayley Wickenheiser Will Oversee the Camp
Hayley Wickenheiser, who’s the Maple Leafs’ Senior Director of Player Development, and her staff will run this season’s camp.
