Lias Andersson Asks Rangers For a Trade

Lias Andersson has officially requested a trade from the New York Rangers.

Forward Lias Andersson has officially asked the New York Rangers to trade him. Darren Dreger reports the disgruntled forward is looking for an opportunity and doesn’t feel he’ll get it in New York.

Already rumored to be on the trade block and nearly sent to the Edmonton Oilers for Jesse Puljujarvi, this trade news doesn’t come as a huge surprise. We’ll have more here as the story develops.

Andersson has one assist in 17 games for the Rangers this season and four goals and one assist for the Hartford Wolfpack of the AHL.

While he waits for a trade, Andersson has officially left the team, as per reports.
