Maple Leafs Lines & Pairings for Friday’s Game vs Senators

As the Toronto Maple Leafs prepare for preseason Game 4, who will be in the team’s lineup? What players will be getting a chance to shine?

As the Toronto Maple Leafs prepare for their fourth preseason game against the Ottawa Senators in Belleville, Ontario, tonight. The team is still (as it should) fiddling with line partnerships and pairings.

Those who are interested in watching the Maple Leafs play tomorrow probably won’t get to see some of the team’s big guns, but they will get to see the bubble players going for it trying to make the big team’s roster.

Who Won’t Play for the Maple Leafs

For example, there’s a good chance that none of the top two lines (so far) of Michael Bunting, Auston Matthews, and Mitch Marner (the team’s first line) or William Nylander, Alex Kerfoot, or Calle Jarnkrok (so far the team’s second line) won’t play. As Maple Leafs’ fans know, center John Tavares is out with a strained oblique.

Who Will Play for the Maple Leafs

Most of the players who will be playing on Saturday night practiced with Group One on Thursday. As noted by Sports Illustrated writer David Alter, the players listed below are scheduled to be on the roster for Friday’s preseason game.
