Andrew Mangiapane is a reliable bottom-six forward with the skill to play up the middle six. After spending seven seasons with the Calgary Flames, he suited up with the Washington Capitals before joining the Edmonton Oilers this season. At 5’10″, 183 pounds, Mangiapane plays a strong two-way game and brings a ton of speed to a lineup. At this point in his career, he isn’t going to score a lot of points. However, he will bring tenacity and get under the opponent’s skin.

Draft Year:

Mangiapane was selected in the sixth round of the 2015 NHL Draft. Through hard work and determination, he worked his way up to the NHL and has been a mainstay there ever since. HIs draft year was one of the best in recent memory. It was the Connor McDavid draft, which would welcome the best player in the world into the NHL.

Since breaking into the NHL in 2017-18, Mangiapane has been somewhat consistent. His career-high in points came during the 2021-22 season with the Flames, when he scored 55 points in 82 games, including 35 goals.
