Position Overview:
We’re seeking 3–5 passionate hockey writers to cover NHL trade news, including rumors, analysis, and breaking updates. Ideal candidates have deep knowledge of the league, strong research skills, and the ability to write quickly and clearly under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and report NHL trade rumors, player movements, and front-office news.
  • Produce clear, concise, and engaging articles or social posts.
  • Analyze potential trade scenarios and roster impacts.
  • Collaborate with editors to ensure accurate and timely content.
  • Stay up-to-date on league trends, salary cap issues, and player news.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience writing about hockey, ideally covering the NHL.
  • Excellent research, writing, and fact-checking skills.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure.
  • Familiarity with NHL salary cap rules, contracts, and player movement trends.
  • Strong social media literacy is a plus.
