David Kampf Narrows Down UFA Signing Options to 3 Teams
Agent JP Barry and David Kampf are going through the selection process and hope to have a decision tomorrow.
As per TSN’s Darren Dreger, “Agent JP Barry and David Kampf are going through the selection process and hope to have a decision tomorrow. Multiple teams have inquired, however, the list has been reduced to three clubs.”
Kampf is now an unrestricted free agent after mutually terminating his contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Several teams were rumored to be interested in Kampf, but the veteran forward is likely looking for the best opportunity play meaningful minutes.
Among the teams interested are the Vancouver Canucks, Montreal Canadiens, and potentially the Pittsburgh Penguins.
