Taylor Hall Trade Out of Arizona Possible?

Could Taylor Hall be moved by the Arizona Coyotes? One scribe believes that might be an option as the team slides down the standings.

In a recent article for The Hockey News, writer Matt Larkin took at a look at the possibility of the Arizona Coyotes trading Taylor Hall.

It’s not the first time a writer has asked this question but as the NHL Trade Deadline creeps closer and the Coyotes appear to falter down the stretch, more and more people may look to GM John Chayka and ask, ‘What’s your plan?’

Sure, there’s still time for the Coyotes to go on a run. They might gamble and tell themselves they went out and acquired Hall for a reason. It doesn’t make sense to abandon that plan now. But, what if Hall isn’t sticking put and the Coyotes are all but assured not to make the postseason by Feb 24?

Larkin writes in his post:

Suddenly, GM John Chayka would find himself sitting on the trade market’s No. 1 UFA rental option: Hall. It would surely be a painful move to make, but what if a team offered far more than what Chayka paid to get Hall?

Hall being available has the potential to change the face of the trade deadline and all of a sudden, Chris Kreider might not be the most coveted rental at the deadline.

This is a story worth watching and it would be wise to see if any leaks come out of the Coyotes organization that they might be enticed to listen to offers if they don’t start winning.
