According to a story on NHL.com, New Jersey Devils defenseman P.K. Subban is working on a project with the NHL. That project is going to be a game show, one meant to bring enjoyment to hockey fans who are starving for hockey and not getting any because the league is on lockdown.

Subban dropped news of his plan during a conference call with other Metropolitan Division players on Thursday, He said:

“I’m sure it could be some fun stuff and it’s also great to create some content that brings some joy to people, gives people some things to laugh about because there’s a lot of things to frown about [right now].”

This is something he’s working directly with the league on and noted, “I’m happy that the League is making an initiative to put smiles on people’s faces and give fans some content to look forward to and have some fun with.”

Both sides are hoping the show will start as early as next week.

There weren’t much in the way of details as to how the game show would work, or if it was straight trivia. But, what we can say is that if Subban is the host, it’s likely to be quiet entertaining.
